PSA to all on OPPO: I found out about Project Binky from an OPPO post about a year ago with a bunch of comments about how great it is. I was skeptical because I find a lot of auto related youtube series to be unwatchable. I can say with certainty this is soooo much better and eminently worthwhile. If you haven’t already, check it out.

it is....but you know, it might JUST work. and its actually a reallyl smart way of doing it, as now, they can fit whatever Alterntor or AC unit they want.
still no sign of the turbo though....

It was really fun binge ing the first dozen episodes or so.

Rookie mistake.
The trick is knowing that they aren’t very often so you have to pace yourself.

I would assume it's going in a stock location, just closer to the block. Because they dont have the space to run a charge pipe back to the front.

A lso: “runs at twice crank speed” can the alternator and A/C compressor take the RPM?

Apparently alternators can spin to about 18000, but I don’t know about the AC compressor since that’s a little more complicated internally

Yes...but when compared to the entirety of the actual project...no.

I never said it was ridiculous in a bad way.

And I never thought you did. I was just questioning your choice of hyperbole given the thoroughly over the top nature of the entire project!!
